Carbon monoxide sensors are chemical sensors. Chemical sensors are mainly composed of two parts: conduction or conversion system. Carbon monoxide gas sensors are used in conjunction with alarms and are the core detection elements in alarms. They are based on the basic principle of constant potential electrolysis. When carbon monoxide diffuses into the gas sensor, its output terminal generates a current output, which is provided to the sampling circuit in the alarm, playing the role of converting chemical energy into electrical energy.
